My name is David. I´m in my mid thirties and I’m a daddy happily married. I am an open and global minded economist, optimistic, enthusiastic, hard worker with a good sense of humour.

I was born in Madrid (Spain). I spent my childhood in a village near Madrid, Pozuelo. I have lived in Ponferrada, Valencia, Galway (Ireland) and in New York City. For this reason I consider myself a Spanish man of the world!

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration and Management from Complutense University, specializing in Financial Management.

I have an Executive Master in Business Administration (EMBA) from CEU Business School.

When I was a student I had good teachers. My teachers were a good example for me, for this reason I got a Teaching Certificate from Valencia University.

I have a master degree in International Business Management and International Trade by Madrid Open University (UDIMA).

Writing is my passion. I wrote economic articles when I was in the university for “Nueva Etapa” the oldest magazine of all Spanish Universities. There I was the editorial assistant. For over one century many famous writers such as Dámaso Alonso, Dionisio Ridruejo, Juan I. Luca de Tena, Rafaél Sánchez Mazas…have written in this prestigious magazine.

I wrote articles about economics and business management in 2010 for the Website of a Spanish newspaper named La Gaceta DNC.

I´m a member of the Economist College of Valencia and also I was a founding partner and president of the association AMECEM (Friends of the Economy and Business). The object of this association was to promote the entrepreneurial spirit. I’ve been also a member of  Valencia’s Marketing Club.

Public speaking is one of my passions. I’ve been Vice-president of membership, Vice-President of education and currently I am the President of Valencia Toastmasters, where I got the following certificates: Competent Communicator, Advanced Communicator Bronze and Competent Leader

I have a varied professional career. Firstly, I had a textile business. I have worked in real estate, as a seller, as a teacher of economics and business management, and currently I’m working as a business consultant.

I played ice hockey when I was young, thanks to this sport, I learned how to work as a part of a team.

I spent my spare time with my family and my friends. I enjoy writing, reading, running and watching my favorite Spanish football team, my Real Madrid.
